I am The Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE)!! Yeah..

It’s so amazing accepting an email from Obert Hoseanto as Microsoft Partner In Learning that informed me about the The Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE).

And.. I am one of two who have been selected to join hundreds of other Expert Educators from all over the world in getting the latest Microsoft technologies in Education to be used in my classrooms. My friend, Neny Else gets the opportunity also. We both eligible to participate in Microsoft in Education Global Educator Exchange, which is set for March 2016!! Yeaah.. Alhamdulillah..

The Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) is an exclusive program created to recognize global educator visionaries who are using technology to pave the way for their peers for better learning and student outcomes. To be a Microsoft Innovative Educator, we must nominate ourselves by applying through this URL  http://aka.ms/mie and fill the MIE-Expert self nomination form.

I myself upload my teaching activity using 21st century learning design at Round 1. I describe it using Sway and attach the link to my submission. Here is my sway https://sway.com/hEFvxocAKgkI6dMw.

The MIE Experts will be selected by the regional Microsoft representative based on the quality of the responses to the self-nominations form. I get the silver level.

Being MIE Experts, we also have some opportunities, such as testing Microsoft new products while in beta form, building educator capacity in our community (school, district or at training events) by training and coaching colleagues, professional and career development opportunities and certifications, and many more.. I think that it’s such a great opportunities that I get!

The application will be closed on 15 August for Round 1 and 30 October for Round 2. Now.. I’m waiting for the announcement of MIEE for Round 2 and the next agenda from Mr. Obert Hoseanto..

Well, let’s wait and see.. 😉
